Mario Botta, one of the European architects that influenced, and still does, contemporary architecture in all its aspects the most, is the guest, from 12th December 2003 to 15th February 2004, at the Palazzo della Ragione in Padova.
Visitors will witness a great, absolutely enthralling confrontation, between the large, frescoed Hall and the clear, geometrical, passionate and perfectly balanced atmosphere surrounding Mario Botta's creations.
During this wide-ranging cultural project, other events, like "Architecture at school", the exhibits "Padova seen from the sky","Padova city of water“ and the 'Barbara Cappochin' Architecture Award will be held in parallel to the main exhibition.
This event is the chance to analyze the last ten years of Mario Botta's career, from 1993 to 2003. Through an exhibition he created, in a fragile connection with the wide recently renovated Hall, pictures, drawings and 3-D models show his work ,
letting visitors discover one of the most productive contemporary architect and one of the closest to European culture.
